Probably not, because when I type 1 and then 0, it still shows the
message "No menu in this node.".
By the way, Gavin, if you want to read old discussions without the
messages being garbled by the mailing list software, you can download
the mboxes from ftp://lists.gnu.org/bug-texinfo/ .
