a sentence ending in uppercase suppresses double space

Hi,

When a sentence in a texi document ends with an uppercase letter,
the normal second space  after the period is suppressed.

For example, when a texi doc contains "Press ^X.  Then press N.
And it's gone...", the Info document that makeinfo produces will
contain just one space before "Then" and "And".

$ makeinfo --version | head -1
texi2any (GNU texinfo) 6.0
