(I was able to delete the lines that were blocking it from processing.)

The problem comes down to the following in hyperbole.kys:

\entry {\code {\bkbd {C-c @}}}{38}

Here @} is viewed as a single control sequence, so a } is absorbed and
there is one too few.

I think this is due to the following line:

@kindex C-c \

I will investigate further.
