another report: I am running
        make check ALL_TESTS=yes
and see two failed tests:
        test_scripts/coverage_formatting_fr.sh
        test_scripts/layout_formatting_fr_icons.sh
and both tests have a trivial diff, namely that a final full stop
is missing:
