ampersand issue with texi2dvi

Dear texinfo developers,

I run into an issue with texi2dvi (see attached example file) that
results in the following error messages:

$ texi2dvi libTMCG_bug.texi

How can I avoid this error without adding an extra space at the end of
the @code-block?
