No.

Now that is strange ...  Perhaps something in the DomTerm styling fixes
whatever the problem is?  Might be painful to debug (though I do
have some old versions of Electron I could use as Chrome browsers).

I simplified the plain (non-DomTerm) styling to be simpler (without
flexbox and without vertical text):

Both should have this issue fixed:
