On small screens a level two subentry would lead to too much
indentation.  But using 2 and 4 would already indent much more.  I'll
see if it looks ok.

Ah, yes, you're right.  In portrait mode, it might make things look really funny, especially if both the entry and section are rather long, causing the text to wrap.  This was also a problem in the old scheme.  And in all cases, it's pretty hard to tell what lines up with what because everything is wrapped.

But at least with phones and tablets you can just rotate the device to landscape mode and get something that's reasonable.
