As well as checking the log files as Patrice said, you could try running
the scripts from the commad line:
$ test_scripts/nested_formats_texi_nested_formats.sh
This will run texi2any for the test case and should also print the reason
for the test failure.
Any extra output printed by the program, e.g. warnings, can lead to a
test failure with these tests.

The reason for the failure is certain to be elsewhere, not inside this
file itself. These scripts are automatically generated and are all very
similar.
