A solid starter kit augmented by affordable libraries of components is how the music software business works.
As an intermediate format the goal is simply to make it easy to move data along a production pipeline to end up with a final file that can be re-assembled into your playback application. Appreciated, Mr Stocker!
The applications are project specific, and don't simply scale up for "consumers" to develop on their own. At this time, IEs security for the object is fairly well developed. It is basically combos of a couple of Gecko tutorials. - a contrived spectacle? A solid starter kit augmented by affordable libraries of components is how the music software business works.
On the other hand, this sound is a vast improvement over what we had to use ten years ago so I am still blown away. Companies like Yumetech have stayed the course with open source libraries for Java.
One can argue that having more than a few choices is optimal for many local conditions rather than having these locales end up living with the over-largess and tyranny of the mass market. The technologies are comlimentary but their targets are different. He provides protos and externprotos for these and suggests their inclusion in the spec.
These demos showed effective geospatial referencing with large models, lots of textures, effective user interaction and even networked agent-based simulation entities. At best, they can be incorporated into the browsers. The artistic worlds are hard enough but the serious apps require serious effort.

More information coming soon but mark your calendars now. They are available as individual PDFs. org as a great community service.

And of course there is no reason the two standards can't be interoperable. These demos showed effective geospatial referencing with large models, lots of textures, effective user interaction and even networked agent-based simulation entities.
Companies like Media Machines have made their brower code open source so the 'softies have a basis to get started. So does the software it can buy.

If an object is, say picked up and pushed to a wall, it moves there in a smooth motion.
They even include their own encryption techniques. May they continue to make, save and deliver the highest quality graphics possible in their favorite content creator and deliver it at the best possible frame-rate! It keeps the work focused on staying alive.
But that is not it's goal or focus and not what application developers are embracing. But while it is exciting that there are so many different technology options, how do we decide which solution to use?

The techniques applied are ingenious but easy to use and comprehend.
