Clarification: the space that I'm referring to is after the identifier
being defined. For example, '#define HAVE_SOMETHING 0' works, but
'#define CLIENT_SUPPORT' doesn't because there's no space after
CLIENT_SUPPORT. To work around this, I've added a space after each of
the problem declarations.
