Dave,
Yes, You can place them any way you want. Look at
"Edit->Preferences->Startup"
You can select "Stacked" or "Separate". If they are separate, you can position
them wherever you want and of any size for each one by just moving them.

Hi,
I am trying to figure out if the windows in ddd ( the source window and the
data display ) can be placed parallel i.e. instead of one on top of another,
these windows be displayed one to the right or left of another.
I am more of systems programmer than gui so I am not sure about the windows
layout otherwise, i would have tried to do this myself...
