Compiling 3.8 on HP-UX 11.0

I had reported various problems with compiling on HP-UX 11.0.

I now have done the following, and get a different error than before, so maybe
this will ring a bell with someone...

Thanks for any help...

1) removed all former GNU binutils
2) built and installed GNU binutils binutils-2.14
3) removed and rebuilt gcc-3.3.2 using gcc-3.2.3
4) reconfigured DDD 3.8
5) upgraded "make" to be GNU make 3.80 (was 3.79)
5) now get this:
