I would be interested in this as well. I don't think this ability exists
in GDB, the usual underlying debugger and so there is no straightforward
function to do this. However, it should be possible to get the Gnuplot
interface to do something like that using the 'every' keyword; that
would require some programming of the existing interface,  I believe, to
allow the user to input the start/skip parameters and apply them.

I'd like to display the contents of a pointer to a  one-dimensional
array as a two-dimensional table. (e.g. a 25 element array displayed as
a 5 x 5 table).

Does anyone know of a way to do this?
