viewing source containing characters

hi,

i just got ddd 3.3.10 and i have a problem with a source file or group of.

all the sources files that contain characters such at áéíóú etc (aeiou 
with acecnts) are not displayed properly. The content of those source 
files are shown up until the first occurrence of one of th eabove 
characters.

i think i may have had this issue with the alst version also, but i 
can't find how i managed to get around it.

any pointers ?
