Hi Vladimir,

Software never dies – it just gets old.  DDD builds on a number of libraries (notably, Motif/Lesstif) that are no longer being maintained, so it’s become harder and harder to keep it alive.  (And after all, it’s been around for almost 20 years, which makes it a methusalem of sorts.)  The closest I’ve recently seen as a successor is this project – check it out:

Yes, emacs' gdb-mode and realgud-mode kind of work as a substitute,
but the data  visualisation capabilities are still unrivalled.
