[DejaGnu] make check with example/calc/ dejagnu-1.4.2

runtest v1.4.2 does not accept tclvar as a command line argument.
when I type
address@hidden testsuite]# pwd
/root/dejagnu/src/dejagnu-1.4.2/example/calc/testsuite
address@hidden testsuite]# runtest
CALC=/root/dejagnu/src/dejagnu-1.4.2/example/calc/calc -tool CALC
WARNING: Couldn't find the global config file.
WARNING: Couldn't find tool init file

Illegal Argument "CALC=/root/dejagnu/src/dejagnu-1.4.2/example/calc/calc"
try "runtest --help" for option list

in the maual this is allowed.
is this a bug?
