Recently RMS used the term "meme" to describe the use of the word "open"
applied to all sorts of different things. He followed that up by saying
he prefers to spread the "libre" meme rather than the "open" meme. I
tend to agree with him so how about we go with libre hardware in our FSD
descriptions about packages?

We might even clarify that term a bit further to say it is referring to
the schematics and hardware specifications. If those are included and
under a free license in the package you are linking to, then we can even
consider making note of that in the license section.
