In general I think having nice formatted standard text for GNU packages
is a plus. The only one that gives me pause is the text for
decommissioned packages telling people to email the generic maintainers
email address. Maybe that change was done in discussion with the folks
that receive emails at that address but otherwise I'm not sure that's
really how we want to direct people should they choose to pick up the
mantle. A lot of those decommissioned works are so old that really if
you were to pick them back up you'd likely just be making a new package,
and if that's the case then GNU evaluation is maybe a better place to
direct people.
