GEC Question of usage

Could you respond on how I might use this for as builts or is this strictly a design item?    The world is revolting against the big monsters so much.  I am in a listserver that functions for Visual Cadd they would rather mess with something and avoid AutoCad regardless of cost.   They are so upset with MS they can't talk enough about it.   IE is so intrusive they want their freedom from it.    I put on Visual Basic and no hope of avoiding MS.   I would like to try this linux out because everything that Corel has is out on Linux now also.

 PS  I had applied for a job that requires doing as builts for the electrical layout of the controls this seemed  like a possibility but I will probably have to add to their acad .DWG files
