creating SPICE netlists in Electric

Hi, 

I need to generate a SPICE netlist where certain 
components do not get netlisted, instead the 
description should be included from a separate
file.

If I use the 'use model from file' option, 
I get both an included file and a SUBCKT 
definition of the FACET in question. Is there
anyway to stop Electric generating the
SUBCKT definition (short of editing 
sim/simspice.cpp!).

Or I am missing something obvious here.
