Steven,

What I can do is contributing IC design related contents (I'm an EE
working full-time on analog IC's) and do some minor software
development tasks. I have some experience in programming in Java and
several scripting languages but this may not be enough for the project
of this size.

So, yes, I'm going to actively participate in this development. I
think we should first go for low hanging fruits (the simple variant).
What resources are available?

FYI:
- I have just started with Electric, in the beginning I will probably
"contribute" more questions than answers.
- As a user of a commercial EDA tool I _am_ biased. I recognize some
good design decisions in Electric but its UI is really painful for me.
- I'm here privately.

\R.

This all sounds like a good idea. What we need is someone who can do
these things. Are you the one?
