Martin,

Thanks for forwarding the Vanu announcement and your wish list.

To state the obvious, the way free software gets written is that
somebody who wants it done, writes it.

If you're hot for 802.11*, please dive in.  There are lots of 2.4 GHz
downconverters available off the shelf.  There are lots of companies
making them.  All you need is a down converter, A/D card, fast PC, and
some time and effort.

I'm looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
