[Discuss-gnuradio] rtlinux and gnuradio

Hello,
     I intend to build a radio (ISM band) using the gnuradio. I don't know if 
it's feasible. I fear I am not very much aware of the gnuradio capabilities, I 
have only recently got it installed/working. Does one need to have a rtlinux 
installed for proper working of the radio ?
 Shall put up other questions as I start facing the difficulties :-). 
Inputs/suggestions from anyone who has got such a radio working/tried it are 
welcome.
