These things look like a good way to hook up low-bandwidth GNU Radio
users to ham radio hardware. I noticed them in an audio pro
newsletter. Each has two channel audio input, two channel audio
output, using RCA jacks (and some have other interfaces too).

UA-1A ($79 retail): 16-bit/44.1 kHz AD/DA. USB powered, tiny cable.
UA-20 ($215 list): 24-bit/44.1 kHz AD/DA. USB powered. Box.
UA-700 ($595 list): 24-bit/96 kHz AD/DA. External power. Big box.
The first hurdle would be finding a Linux USB driver that can talk to
it...
