[Discuss-gnuradio] USRP as HF receiver?

It occurs to me that owing to the tremendous bandwidth available
  on the USRP, it could be a quite good (with the right software)
  HF receiver for various modes.  The entirety of the DC-30Mhz
  HF bands could be snarfed into the host PC for processing.

All you'd need would be a front-end consisting of perhaps some
  switchable filters, and suitable gain.

Anyone working on that avenue?
