gnuradio_swig_python.cc definitely takes the longest on my system too,
but nothing like several hours, more like 5 or 10 minutes. This is on
a 1.4 GHz Pentium M with 768MB of RAM. Anybody know how to override
the -O option for a single file using automake? Compiling it -O1
instead of -O2 should speed up compilation without costing us anything
in overall performance.
RAM is cheap. A gig of PC2700 w/ECC is less than $100 at zipzoomfly.com
