I completely agree with you. If the source were still available, we or someone else could do that. I did not manage to keep a copy through various hard drive crashes.

Ok, I understand.

I always had a copy of Qt 3.2.1 Non-Commerical Edition for Windows that came with the book "C++ GUI Programming with Qt3" ISBN 0-13-124072-2.

However, I can't see how the release of application source code can be in conflict with Trolltech's IP as long as none of the Qt3 resource files are included with the distribution.

Porting to qt4 shouldn't be much of a problem though.
