[Discuss-gnuradio] bulk or isochron communication with the usrp

I am wondering why bulk communication is used instead of isochronous
between the usrp and the host.

isochron communication secure the timing of the received samples but do
not garantee errorfree information as with bulk (and interrupt)
communication.
Isochron communication is (as far as I have understood) also usually used
in communication with audio and video devices.
