Subject: [Discuss-gnuradio] Profound increase in no. of correct packets on demodulating data from a file!!!

Hi everyone

I am currently on a chore which requires taking data from USRP and use it further down the lane.
I write the data from the USRP onto a file and keep noting the no. of correct packets received.
But today the most puzzling thing happened!!

After storing the USRP data on the file when I d   emodulated the file separately...the no.of correct packets were more than those axctually treceived in real time!!

I cant think of an explanation for this n I hv repeated the simulation many-a-times to observe the same thing!!

As an illustration, suppose I received 1000 packets online of which 500 were correct and I stored the USRP data in a file,...then on demodulating the file I get 1000 packets of which 587 are correct!!!!!!!!

How to explain this sudden increase in quality of packets???
Kindly help..
Thnx in advance
