I just got back from travel.
I don't know why you don't have the FFT module.
When I run python on my system in interactive mode, I can:
Python 2.5 (r25:51908, Nov 6 2007, 16:54:01)
[GCC 4.1.2 20070925 (Red Hat 4.1.2-27)] on linux2
Type "help", "copyright", "credits" or "license" for more information.
>>> import FFT
Which works just fine.
Do you have python-numeric installed?
You need package:
python-numeric-24.2-4.fc7
Installed on your system to get this package.
