Hi All,

just an update to this issue. I have managed to get the GNU Radio 
Virtual Machine talking to the USRP, at least the usrp_fft.py is 
working. The 'createfilemapping' was a red herring as Eric had mentioned 
in his reply. The real problem was that I was trying to run the VM using 
VM Server version 1.06 which is too old to support the USB2.0 interface. 
I changed to the latest VM Player (2.04) which does support USB2.0 and 
things started to work, although there may still be some issues lurking 
as the usrp_benchmark_usb.py tes hung when trying to transfer at 4MB/sec.
