I have tested it too using the Fedora 2.6.23.1-42 kernel version with
the same results :(

Are there any specific test I could try to troubleshoot Python,
wxPython, or any other GUI component?
Anyone else running GNU Radio & USRP on Fedora 8 succesfully?
