Hi,

If  you installed boost at (for example):
/opt/boost_1_36_0/lib

then :

1)  sudo edit :
/etc/ld.so.conf

2) add the line:
/opt/boost_1_36_0/lib    to it

3) exit and do:
sudo ldconfig
