From what I understand, dual licensing mostly works for Qt -- and, I doubt that 
Ettus would be exploring it for UHD if it didn't have some merits.  I wonder if 
you can elaborate on how/why it is flawed?

I fully agree, but I doubt that the FSF will downgrade the license to be just 
LGPL.  They might allow a second license as a means of income? - MLD
