Subject: [Discuss-gnuradio] Suggestion to
void frequently asked questionsand solved user errors?
Hi all,
When a user run into problems, it seems to
me, that user will post to the gr-list *help: it doesn't
work*
even if the problem has been solved 100 times
before.
and inject *my problem* into the search string box. 75%
sure that my problem is there, if not I use google and try
harder.
In my opinion it would be easier to do a quicker
search when the *user problem* was solved if
user would add [SOLVED] *...my terrible problem...*
to the subject line?
I think this is common behaviour on other
groups?
If the subject line had that tag, [SOLVED], I think, GR
admin's CPU (load would) go down dramatically and help alot of
users?
Just as an example: Post to linux kernel using
subject "Help, it doesn't work". User solved the problem
but he never told anybody how.
Just a suggestion to minimize the *actual
problem*,
Patrik
