Hello List, hello funcubers,

participating a long time of the list and doing my own experiments with
gnuradio, usrp and funcube as well as RTL, i want to give a little back
to the list now.

I adopted the usrp_spectrum_sense.py for funcube to get a poor mans
spectrum scope with funcube in the range of 65 MHz to 1.7 GHz.

Ok, funcube has some gaps; the best known is between 1.1 and 1.2 GHz.

You will find the python procedure and an English and German
documentation as well as a README.txt at

http://homepages.hs-bremen.de/~hartje/pub/2012/fcd_wideband_spectrum/index.html

I tried this with novel gnuradio only on Linux -- is there anyone trying
it for the windows precompiled gnuradio?
nice to hear any comments on this. Start with README.txt.

BTW i held a 90 min talk on gnuradio for hamradio applications during
the hamradio exhibition and conference end of June 2012 in
Friedrichshafen, Bodensee, Germany. You will find the German foils and
some of the explained grc examples at

http://homepages.hs-bremen.de/~hartje/pub/2012/hamradio/gnuradio/index.html

Hope you enjoy it
