You're probably running the 'lite' version of GRC, which has this
limitation....

Just kidding! There's no lite version.

I Martin,
The GRC runs properly with no problem. But I discovered that the problem starts when I use the File Sink block to store my data.
When File Sink block is activated, my GRC runs for about 60 minutes and shuts down automatically.
I have a very simple flowgraph: Usrp source with 2 channels, 1 Multiply block, 1 Scope Sink, and 1 File Sink. My system sample rate is 250 Ksps.
I tried to change the sample rate, but no luck still.

Any help please.

Dominique.

Hello Tom,
Is there a timeline for fixing the issue with control port and backing it
to its normal operation?

Best,

Just kidding! There's no lite version.
However, no-one will be able to help you without some more info; which
version, what's your FG, what's the smallest FG you can create which has
this issue, have you tried tracking it down to a specific block...

Dear all,
I  am working on re-configurable  Software defined radio based  multiband
transceiver (initially for ISM band 2.4 GHz).for that i am using GNU Radio
for software design .For hardware design i come to know that Development
Boards (i)USRP Motherboard (ii)RFX2400 or SBX40 or CBX40 are  required .
my quires are
(1) Is GNU radio software is sufficient for full transceiver design ?
(2) What other components are required in the hardware circuits?
(3) What is the cost of USRP motherboard, RFX2400,SBX40 and CBX40 ?

Thanks in advance
amit

Have a read of this page for more information on what you can do with GNU
Radio:

http://gnuradio.org/redmine/projects/gnuradio/wiki/WhatIsGR

> (2) What other components are required in the hardware circuits?

You'll need an antenna resonant for the target frequency ideally with an
SMA Male connecter.

Ettus motherboards, specifications and prices can be found here:

https://www.ettus.com/product/category/USRP-Networked-Series

See the Ettus product page for their daughterboards, prices, simplex/duplex
capabilities and frequency ranges:

https://www.ettus.com/product/category/Daughterboards

Be aware that the WBX only goes up to 2.2GHz so does not cover the wanted
2.4GHz ISM band.

Ettus isn't the only manufacturer of GNU Radio compatible hardware so have
a look here for other options:
