Hello Yamith! Those are two different things: the GPSDO is a full GPS receiver. Its job is to give your X310 a reference oscillator that is controlled by the GPS clock, a very high quality clock, and a pulse per second, so that you can set the time in the device very exactly. To decode GPS signals in software, you don't have to use the GPSDO.
