No, that is not true. Where did you get that number from? The highest
technically possible sampling rate is 60.72 MS/s, and the analog
bandwidth is limited to 56MHz. In practice, usually, the USB3 controller
of your PC is the limit, so expect to achieve less.

However, something 5MS/s and 10MS/s should work fine, and as per
Nyquist, are perfectly able to describe your signal.
