Hey all -

We have a few announcements regarding GRCon17:

Student Registration
We are very excited to announce that Ettus Research will once again be sponsoring student registrations for GRCon! To learn more about how to take advantage of the student registration, visit the conference website, here: http://gnuradio.org/grcon-2017/students/

Conference Program
A tentative structure for the conference program is now live on the website. It is obviously subject to change and relatively high-level at this point, but it should give you some idea of what the conference is likely to look like: http://gnuradio.org/grcon-2017/program/

The Conference 'About' page provides additional details on the types of sessions: http://gnuradio.org/grcon-2017/about/

Sponsors
Two more organizations have joined the conference sponsor list!

Hume Center for National Security and Technology - Gold Sponsor
The Hume Center leads Virginia Tech’s research, education, and outreach programs focused on the challenges of cybersecurity and autonomy in the context of national and homeland security. Education programs provide mentorship, internships, scholarships, and seek to address key challenges in qualified US citizens entering federal service. Current research initiatives include cyber-physical system security, orchestrated missions, and the convergence of cyber warfare and electronic warfare. Positions open for graduate students and research faculty, with an emphasis on software defined radio, digital signal processing, and machine learning.

SkySafe - Bronze Sponsor
SkySafe was founded in 2015 to develop small drone management and mitigation systems. Built heavily on software defined radio and customized frontend hardware, the SkySafe solution leverages a library of drone threat information, protocol integration, and spectrum sensing techniques to secure sensitive airspace. We are avid supporters of open source platforms, security tools, and radio building blocks. For more information, please visit www.skysafe.io or email us at address@hidden.

Cheers,
The GRCon Organizing Committee
