Interesting. I installed with pip (from pypi) and got the error. After
some tinkering around I finally found

https://github.com/gnuradio/pybombs/tree/master

and then issued:

pip install --upgrade git+https://github.com/gnuradio/pybombs.git

which resulted in pybombs version 2.3.3a0, fixing the problem.

I.e. the current pybombs on pypi will give new users not the easiest
start-up.
