I'm not familiar with this tutorial, for gnuradio's symbols it should be enough 
to rebuild in "RelWithDebInfo" or "Debug" mode.

    rm CMakeCache.txt
    cmake -D CMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=RelWithDebInfo ..
    make clean 
    make

For debug symobols of external libraries you need to install their dbg or 
dbgsym packages:

If you have libqt4-dev installed on your system and you don't need it for 
something else you may try to uninstall it.
