Yes, git will tell you these are identical. ( git diff maint-3.9 master
gr-analog/examples/fm_?x.grc )

Wiiild guess: Is it possible you had a previous version of GNU Radio installed 
before? in
that case, please delete ~/.cache/gnuradio/ and restart GRC.
