Linux systems are often configured to block certain types of broadcast traffic for ordinary users. The uhd_find_devices utility uses broadcast packets.

I had a similar issue with E310/E312s recently on Ubuntu 20.04.  USRPs and host computer were set up with static IPs on the same subnet, could ping and SSH into radios but uhd_find_devices returned no devices found.  Turns out it was an issue with Ubuntu's firewall.  I had to turn off the firewall in order to get it to work.

Subject: UHD device not found

Hi,
I am having a USRP N320 and installed gnuradio+uhd (4.0 version) on ubuntu 20.04 LTS. Earlier, device is working fine with following command-
Ping 192.168.10.2
uhd_find_devices
uhd_usrp_probe

But, now I am using it after some time, and the device is pinging properly. However, when I am running the command uhd_find_device, it shows no device found. So help me regarding this issue.
