I have been using GNUstep with Suse 7.3 since this release has become
available. The only problem I had was in the SUSE update that always did
forget to build some links to X libraries. I think this time it was to
the libHermes which had no link to the current version.
So I am pretty sure that GNUstep is working in this environment. What I
never did since that time is build up GNUstep from scratch. I always had
a working /usr/GNUstep directory. If your problem is not resolved I will
try to delete this and start anew with installing GNUstep.
Your problem with the main function looks like something I did get when
part of the GNUstep system thought I needed a faked main, while other
parts were sure that my system works without it (Which is true anyway).
I don't know how this could get messed up, but I could get it right
again at that time, by rebuilding all parts of GNUstep.
Hope this helps
Fred
