libxml2 base configure problem

Hi all,

Just did a clean install of my GNUstep stuff and updated to the latest
and the greatest

gnustep-base does not detect my libxml 2.4.15 as being higher then 2.2.3



checking for xml2-config... (cached) /usr/local/bin/xml2-config
checking for libxml - version >= 2.2.3... no
*** Could not run libxml test program, checking why...

xml2-config --version
2.4.15
