Font size and anti-alias ?

 I notice that the font has different appearance depending on the size.
 I don't know the exact term.
 But the fonts with size less than 16 seems not anti-aliased,
 and lager than 16 are.
 Could I adjust this setting ?
 Actually, for Chinese character,
 I prefer size 16 without anti-alias so that it is readable even on LCD 
monitor.
