Hi,

I have recreated save/open panel history fontification. Patch is attached.

Nice.

Do you think that putting a ComboBox in the file name with the last files
would be a good idea?

Yes and no. Yes - it can be handful, no - textfield is implier than combo box.
It can be good addition to fontification. (Besides that, fontification has
another advantage - you can see the whole path, not only last accessed file.)

I would like to have 'quick access places' or as they are called 'favorites',
configurable per application, in the open panel. But on the other hand, i would
like to have it simple.

Now, what about NSFilePanel bundles (stored somewhere in */Library)?
Automatically supported by -gui. One can create file-panel bundle with any
desired behaviour and look. Would it be possibel to add such automatic bundle
loading into -gui?

What do you think?
