Hi again....i type this at the prompt in terminal window, as root....

. /user/GNUstep/System/Makefiles/GNUstep.sh

...but shouldn't it crunch numbers for a while?...it just immediately goes
to # prompt after i run the above command...........then i try to
./configure gnustep-base and i get same "must run blah blah first!"
again......
