Usually, I have GWorkspace running all the time as I use it a lot. Also,
I most often have several viewer windows open, some of them on network
drives.

Quitting and starting again does take a lot more time than hiding and
unhiding, of course. Thus, I hide it a lot - and in my hasty behaviour I
sometimes miss Hide :-) (...should probably clean my mouse more often...)

With other apps, I open them, perform my task, and quit. (Exceptions
being mail and browser, as well as terminals.)

And, while other apps can easily know if I'm still working on a document
(i.e. it's modified but not yet saved), GWorkspace cannot read my mind
whether I'm still in the process of "sorting that files" or not.

In summa summarum I hide GWorkspace (and Terminal, etc) a lot more than
I hide most other apps.

And, btw, Terminal does always request your confirmation if you attempt
to quit while some windows are still open.

Greetings,
Martin
